Episode 81: Share Or Not To Share On Social Media?
February 17, 2020
Hit Play:
Nothing causes as much drama and judgment as the topic of what to share and what not to on social media and in my opinion, the 🚨 social media police 🚨 are right up there with the grammar and food police! Yuck!
Plus there are so many social media myths out there about what we’re “supposed” to do on social and what we’re not that it’s no wonder people choose to do nothing at all.
But If you know you’re called to share your story on social media and you’ve been wondering what’s too much? Not enough? Who might this upset? Then be sure to tune in to today’s episode where you’ll learn some of my best practices on the topic to get you out of fear and overthinking and into action.
We’ll discuss:
🎙Common social media myths like having to document “every minute of your day”
🎙The difference between being vulnerable with your audience and a hot mess express.
🎙Discernment about sharing your story when other people may still be affected by it or involved.
🎙The most important questions to ask yourself when deciding whether or not to post something.
Remember that in order to build a business online our stories are powerful tools to master. Be willing to show up and be authentic!Â
