After escaping nearly six years of human trafficking, Rebecca Bender received the kind of restoration that only God provides. Now, an award-winning, social entrepreneur, she is the CEO & Founder of the Rebecca Bender Initiative, a non-profit that works with law enforcement, FBI, Homeland Security, and aftercare programs to provide expert testimony, training, and consultation across the globe.
She is also the creator of Elevate Academy, an online school for women who want to pursue the call of God regardless of their past.
In today’s episode, I sit down with Rebecca to discuss her new book In Pursuit of Love and how we can release trauma and pain in order to follow the call of God on our lives.
All about Rebecca’s continued process of healing and the power of releasing trauma.
What a trigger is and isn’t and how to cope without being a victim.
How Rebecca has pivoted, chased her dreams and five-step process so you can do the same.
The power of pursuing the call of God on your life and not settling for what Rebecca calls “almost promises.”
