As women, we can sometimes be notorious for not asking for help. But friend, listen to me, YOU CAN NOT DO THIS ALONE.
You have not, because you ask not. NO ONE is self-made.
It’s time to lay down your superwoman cape and get good at asking and receiving. When we let go of the pride and judgment associated with women not being able to do it all or be it all then we can truly build our businesses from a place of empowerment and freedom.
When we develop the skill set of asking in every area of our lives without being attached to the outcome we create more space for what we really want.
In today’s episode, we’ll discuss:
๐ How to get honest about the support you need to run your business.
๐ Understand the difference between aggressive and assertive communication.
๐ Letting go of the pride to “do it all” and “be it all” so you can focus on what matters
๐ Having clear conversations with partners about getting the help that you need.
๐ Letting go of the guilt of asking people to do their job and do it well.
You’ll also learn how to deal with perceived rejections and getting neutral about the outcome on the other side of your ask. Plus my best word choices for asking without feeling pushy or needy.
Remember, when you ask someone you’re giving THEM and invitation to grow and serve.
Say it simply, say it straight, and with a smile.
